It has been quite the last few days. Full of ups and downs. One down to be specific. One of the members of our family that has been with us the longest passed on. We were forced to put Howard down the day after Thanksgiving. He had not been acting himself for a few days and was looking like there was something wrong. We took him in and the vet told us it was most likely liver failure, and that there was little to nothing that could be done.
Howard was truly a good cat (I know I'm supposed to say that now but it's true). He never peed on anything unless he was locked in a room for a day or two. He never clawed any of our furniture and he routinely brought us mice. Aside from the occasional bird and a witnessing him take out a hummingbird, he was a GREAT cat.
He is already so missed around our house.
Howard the summer we got him in Shoshone, ID. About 3 months old.
Cute little kitten siblings, they are together once again.
Always finding things to crawl into.
A good little companion.
A good little guinea pig (he even went for a ride around the circle).
Showing off his special talent.
With sister Judy
