Last weekend we had the privilege of taking a trip to South Lake Tahoe. Claudia has a connection through her uncle for a great deal on an awesome little cabin. Oma and Opa offered to watch the kids for the weekend so we were set! We met our good friends Dave and Elin Kappus there and spent two days skiing and enjoying good food and good company.

Tahoe was a fun place to ski. We had super warm weather, especially for January. The conditions were the next best thing to fresh snow.
Afterward we stopped back by the hatchery. Dave and Elin got the tour so we enjoyed some time playing with the fish. Even Jack wanted in on the action. He touched one but that was about it.
