Ahhhhhhh... That's better

We realized that we haven't been camping or even spent a night anywhere other than home since September 2008. No wonder we've all been a complete mess!

This weekend we finally had it. We loaded up our Subi to the roof (MAN, we miss the mini!) and headed south to Moab. It was quite the atypical trip for us. We usually leave for an activity--climbing or mountain biking--and act like obsessed maniacs so we don't "waste" any of our precious time. This time, we left for the sake of leaving and had absolutely no plans, no expectations. Except to camp. Sit in the sun. Be somewhere else. That seems smart when planning any trip with a preschooler and a pregnant lady.

We had a wonderful time. Words can't describe what this little jaunt did for our family. We were in bad shape, and this seemed to restore a little bit of sanity. Or at least our will to live. Hooray!

Throwing rocks into the Colorado River.

At the start of the hike to Corona Arch.More Corona Arch hike. What a gorgeous, easy trail!

Nice! Oh that makes me sad we didn't get to hang out with you guys last weekend:( We tried to hike to that arch last time we were in Moab but Ari was too slow and it started getting dark, it's really cool! We'll have to do that next time.

You guys are great. Can't wait for our next adventure.

Okay, I am jealous! We need to get down south too. It is snowing again today in Logan--grrr! Congrats on the new little one. Claud, you look great. I hope you are feeling better. Hope to see you soon!
