So I've been going completely stir crazy. Being morning sick and/or knocked down by the flu for 4 1/2 months will do that to a person. Saturday, after some major house cleaning, we hopped in the car and headed north to Antelope Island. Nine years living in northern Utah, and I've never been. And despite paying $9 to get in (!), for a rural girl, it was wonderful to be out of the city. It almost didn't feel like 1.5 million people were across the lake. It was exactly what I needed. I think we all needed it. Myelle thrives outside; the kid just glowed during and after our outing. Here are some pix.
