Desert Climbing

Went to the Moab area with some friends while Claudia and the kids were visiting family in CA and NV. Here's a clip from part of our climbing adventures. This is on a formation known as Castleton Tower. The route is at about 6,200' and was completely in the shade....it was cold! The rock was VERY cold to the touch and was really affecting my hands. We wanted to climb the entire tower but the cold rock was taking all our energy so we rappelled off at the top of the first pitch. Next time we're going down when it's planned to be much warmer in Moab!
